Back to Design
Design is no longer purely about creating beautiful outcomes. Today it is increasingly about other things, such as creating tools to help others design, construct methods that allow different teams to work together, come up with principles that guide the business to be more humanity-centric, and outline concepts that give a vision to our future.
In this talk, Kay will talk about how she as a designer is addressing the changing requirements of the industry, and share her story of how she’s attempting to answer those challenges.

About Kay
Kay is a multidisciplinary designer with a focus on Service and Experience design. She employs a human-centered design approach to help companies with their innovation challenges.

After her design studies in China, Singapore, New York, London, and Tokyo, she joined Designit Tokyo in 2017. She has been involved in various projects to support Design Research as well as Service Design, with Japanese clients in a wide range of industries such as insurance, retail, healthcare, mobility, and future society.
